The order, worth about USD 20 million (EUR 18.4m), has been awarded to the company by an unnamed buyer, only classified as “the world’s leading operator in the sector.” Under the deal, the Italian company will equip two Chilean projects.
Enertronica noted that it expects to commence production of the equipment in the first half of this year, with delivery scheduled to be completed within the first months of 2021. No further information regarding the contract was given in the press release.
With the new contracts, Enertronica surpasses 400 MW of total orders so far this year. These contracts will also increase the firm’s total installed capacity in Latin America to 1.2 GW by end-2020.
